Sunday’s tour will be led by Stewart Gray, DHS board member and employee of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission. He’ll talk about the home’s history and discuss the renovations currently being done by the Historic Landmarks Commission.

The house was expanded in 1914, but retains its original I-house form and much of its interior woodwork. It was moved  in 2003 from Alexanderana Road to its current site, 14335 Huntersville-Concord Road, Huntersville.

If you’re interested, meet at 1:30 p.m. at Davidson Town Hall, 216 S. Main St., to car pool. Parking at the historic site is limited.
