Take your pick of theater, cars and music this weekend in and around Davidson. “House at Pooh Corner” continues its run at Davidson Community Players’ Armour Street Theatre, while Pine Lake Prep presents “Seussical the Musical” at Davidson College’s Duke Family Performance Hall.

Davidson Farmers Market runs Saturday morning, 8 a.m. to noon, downtown. The 2nd annual Habitat for Humanity Car Show is Saturday from 5:30-9 p.m. in the ReStore parking lot on North Main Street in Cornelius. And Sunday afternoon on the Village Green, Downtown Davidson Inc. welcomes back the Carter Brothers for another Concert on the Green.

Our community calendar this week includes Thursday’s Don’t Drive Day – devoted to finding an alternative ways to work and promoting better air quality in the Charlotte region. A car-related event of another kind is scheduled Saturday, the 2nd annual Habitat for Humanity Car Show, a gathering of antique and sports cars at the Habitat ReStore in Cornelius. And The Carter Brothers are in Davidson for a Mother’s Day Concert on the Green on Sunday.
