At DollyWood!

Saturday, Feb 2, the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center is hosting a stop on the illustrious Dollywood Entertainment 2013 audition schedule. For those in the business, at the risk of reducing your career to the caliber of teapots at DisneyWorld (all you Gleeks understand), this ranks right up there with a starring role in a Main Stage production at Carowinds, only better! Because, Carowinds is in our backyard. Dollywood isn’t. And, they have Dolly.

It’s not everyday that Dollywood rolls into town. So, while you think about who should win the game Sunday, and whether or not to serve wings or oysters at the party (I vote oysters), make plans to head on down to the auditions Saturday and show them what you’ve got.

Auditions run from 11am – 2pm with registration opening at 10am.

Not only are they looking for musical talent in the country, bluegrass, and gospel genres, they are also seeking technical experience with opportunities existing for a variety of functions such as audio engineers and light board operators.
