Social skills include going through a receiving line, proper introductions,  conversing comfortably with adults and peers, table and telephone manners,  and RSVPs. The program also includes ballroom dancing, with basic Foxtrot, Cha-cha, Waltz and shag. In addition, the Rhumba, Tango, Merenge, Mambo, Swing, Western dances, slow dances, Electric Slide, Hip Hop, Twist, Disco and other currently popular dances are taught.

Seventh and eighth graders will enjoy dressing for themed nights such as disco night and beach themes.

Parents of fifth and sixth graders may attend the last class to observe and dance with their children. Seventh and eighth graders will enjoy a special class with a DJ on the last evening (parents will not be in attendance.)

Class Schedule: Five Tuesdays, February and March, with fifth and sixth graders  7-8 p.m., and seventh and eighth graders 8:15-9:15 p.m.
