This Saturday, Jan. 25, Bella Love brings Oak Street Mill to life with powerhouse Bassments & Addicts to headline the first LIVE show of 2014.  Bassments & Addicts have rocked the stage at two previous ‘Tawba Walk Music and Arts Festivals and are sure to get the crowd moving with their earth shattering funk.  The Goodnight Brothers Band and The Air Station (formerly Hot Vegas) also will perform.  Also on tap: live painting  by Lindsay Lauren Kosma , local food truck Maryland Crab Co and a Hula Hoop demonstration from Kati Simon from Eden Street Market in Davidson.

Gethsemane Gospel Singers host their Gospel Explosion Sunday in Davidson.

This Weekend, Davidson College hosts numerous lectures and panels on ethics and history and celebrates the opening of “State of Emergency,” an exhibit at the Belk Visual Arts Center that includes works by Chinese artist Ai Weiwei. Bella Love presents LIVE at Oak Street Mill with numerous musicians and artisans on Saturday, and Davidson College celebrates the Lunar New Year with a festival and fireworks.
