Interested applicants are asked to fill out applications in the stadium conference room\, located on the second floor\, directly above the main entrance. The Intimidators are looking for enthusiastic and hard-working individuals to fill out its game-day staff for the 2015 season\, which opens Thursday\, April 16\, against the Hickory Crawdads. The Intimidators will be accepting applications for the following positions:           Bat Boys   Concessions   Mascot   Merchandise Sales   Parking attendants   Promotions Team   Suite Servers   Ticket Sellers   Ticket Takers   Ushers      Applicants must be at least 16 years old\, and any applicant under 18 years old must provide a worker's permit. DESCRIPTION:[caption id="attachment_28405" align="alignright" width="300"] Auditions for Davidson Community Players' production of "Chicago" will take place Feb. 28 and March 1.[/caption]    Davidson Community Players will hold open auditions for its June production of "Chicago" on Saturday\, Feb. 28\, from 1-4 p.m. and Sunday\, March 1\, from 7-9 p.m. at the Armour Street Theatre in Davidson.    The musical takes place in the Roaring '20s of Chicago\, where Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband Amos to take the rap...until he finds out he's been duped and turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to death row\, Roxie and another "Merry Murderess\," Velma Kelly\, vie for the spotlight and the headlines\, ultimately joining forces in search of the "American Dream:" fame\, fortune and acquittal. The production will run June 18 -27. The production features music by John Kander\, lyrics by Fred Ebb\, book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse\, and is based on the play by Maurine Dallas Watkins. It will be directed by Corey Mitchell.    For the audition\, only one session is required. Callbacks will be March 3 at 7 p.m. by invitation only. All auditionees should prepare 16 bars of a song that shows off their vocal range. A one-minute monologue is helpful but not required.  Audition pieces should be memorized. Please bring music in the proper key; an accompanist will be provided. A capella singing is NOT recommended. A dance call will follow the vocal audition. Please dress comfortably\, and be prepared to move. Auditionees should also bring a recent picture\, a list of theatrical experience and a list of conflicts for the late April-June time frame.  Full rehearsals will begin in late April. While dancers are encouraged to audition\, all those cast will have the opportunity to take free dance classes from March through April to prepare for the dance numbers. Benjamin Henley is the choreographer for the show with music direction by Tara Keith.    Roles are available for actors\, singers and dancers ages 16 through adult. The cast includes dancers and non-dancers. Principal roles include:    VELMA KELLY: Female\, 25-40 (Alto). Sarcastic\, sexy\, tough former Vaudeville headliner who is accused of murdering her sister and husband.    ROXIE HART: Female\, 20-30 (Mezzo). Childish\, selfish wanna-be vaudeville performer who murders her lover.    AMOS HART: Male\, 30-50 (Baritone). Roxie’s faithful husband.    MATRON "MAMA" MORTON: Female\, 30-50 (Alto). Matron of the female Cook County Jail.    BILLY FLYNN: Male\, 35-50 (Baritone). A suave\, manipulative and sought-after lawyer who hasn’t lost a woman’s case yet.    MARY SUNSHINE: 25-55 (Counter Tenor or Male Soprano\, but will consider lowering the vocal range for the right person). Female reporter from the Evening Star. (This role is played by a male)    LIZ: Female\, 18-45. Prisoner at Cook County Jail.    ANNIE: Female\, 18-45. Prisoner at the Cook County Jail.    JUNE: Female\, 18-45. Prisoner at Cook County Jail.    FRED CASELY: Male\, 30-50. Roxie’s short lived lover. Murdered for trying to leave Roxie.
