Event Navigation
The Davidson Farmer’s Market is open 9am to noon on the market ground next to Davidson Town Hall. This week’s winter tailgate market is the first of three consecutive markets in November (an extra market is scheduled in advance of Thanksgiving).
Farmers market organizers say vendors will be stocked-up with winter produce, meats, cheeses, honey, seafood, breads, prepared foods, apples, granola, flowers and more. Produce likely will include kohlrabi, lettuce, arugula, fennel, beets, carrots, bok choy, collards, cukes, potatoes, butternut squash, gilfeather turnips and kale. Meat vendors will have stew meat and ground beef for chili, chicken for fajita soup, noodle soup or chicken n’ dumplings. See a full list of this week’s market offerings here.
Root Down Food Truck will be there in the morning, and two vendors will be back this week: The Imhoff family and Queen of Oats.
Art on Display at the Market:
Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon we’ll have on display a collection of art drawings that were submitted for our Winter Market Poster Contest. The contest was for elementary school age kids. These drawings will warm your heart and make you smile.
The market normally runs every other week in winter.
