Davidson College Presbyterian Church is offering a Covenant class entitled: “A Cursory Introduction to Tolkein.” W. Glenn Kirkconnell, Adjunct Professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Santa Fe College, will lead this program during October. With the newest “Hobbit” movie set to open in December, this is a good time to look at the religious implications of the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien.
