Davidson Community Players’ The Connie Company youth theater is seeking energetic and imaginative young adults for its Bonus Show production of “Twelve Angry Jurors.”  All actors ages 14-20 are invited to audition. “Twelve Angry Jurors” is based on the play Twelve Angry Men adapted by Sherman L. Sergel and based on the Emmy award-winning television movie by Reginald Rose. The bonus show is a two-week intensive aimed at the advanced student.

Auditions for “Twelve Angry Jurors” will be held on Saturday June 7 from 10am-noon at Armour Street Theatre, 307 Armour Street in Davidson. Those interested should bring a recent picture and resume or list of theatre experience.  In all cases, auditionees should plan to arrive at the start of the appropriate audition and should plan to stay for the entire session. Auditions will consist of theatre exercises and cold readings from the script. If unable to audition on this date, please contact Katie Mullis at KatieW@davidsoncommunityplayers.org

As this is a two-week intensive, actors will rehearse July 21^st-August 1^st Monday-Friday 9am-4pm. Performances dates are August 1^st & 2^nd @ 7pm and August 3^rd @ 2pm.  All rehearsals and performances will take place at Armour Street Theatre. This production will be directed by Katie Mullis.
