CHARLOTTE – Love science? We do too! Spend this Valentine’s Day at Discovery Place for a weekend that’s full of red-hot science and heart-throbbing excitement. The museum has exhibits, including “101 Inventions That Changed The World” as well as a Saturday, Feb. 15 program called “Inventors Day.” Meanwhile, Discovery Place Kids in Huntersville has programs this weekend and next on music and art from around the world.
Don DeLillo, one of the country’s most celebrated authors of novels, short stories, plays and essays, will give Davidson College’s annual Conarroe lecture on Monday, Feb. 17.
