Cool Breeze Cyclery named Small Business of the Year - Thu, 24 May 2012
The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce on Thursday named Cool Breeze Cyclery in Mooresville Small Business of the Year. In addition to selling and repairing “all things bicycle,” the business offers a coaching center for cyclists of all ages and abilities. Savvy Salon and Day Spa in Cornelius was runner up for the award, and Uncommon Scents in Huntersville and The Welcome Committee in Mooresville received honorable mentions.

Davidson commissioners approve revised cable pact - Wed, 23 May 2012
Updated Wed., May 23, 2012, 7:24 a.m. Davidson commissioners voted 4-0 Tuesday to revise an agreement with the Town of Mooresville governing ownership of the MI-Connection Communications System. The deal will save Davidson about $1 million this year, and help ease the financial burden the town has felt as it helped cover losses at the jointly-owned high-speed communications network.
