Get ready for an action-packed weekend in Davidson, featuring the town rummage sale, theater openings for Davidson Day students (“A Comedy of Errors“) and Davidson Community Players (“How I learned to Drive“), lots of local musicians taking the stage at Summit Coffee, an art reception for Felicia Van Bork, contra dancing at the IB Middle School gym, a hike in a wetland, and recitals for musicians at Masterworks.
Fundraisers Saturday include the annual Angels of 97 spaghetti dinner, the Lake Norman Kiwanis Club pancake breakfast and a Davidson College 5k walk to benefit well drilling in Sudan.
Children can enjoy live reptiles at the library Saturday or Medieval performers at the Point golf club Sunday.
