The last week of summer before public school classes resume is filled with events for every member of the family. We have wine tastings, outdoor concerts and a new socializing opportunity for moms of little ones. We have story and art classes, an outdoor showings of “Frozen” and “Grown Ups 2,” an Eager Eaglets program at the Carolina Raptor Center, ballet auditions, and school activities.  Town halls in Davidson and Cornelius have public meetings Monday night, and the Hough High School soccer team opens its season, also Monday.  The Comedy Zone in Cornelius has JJ Boyd Tuesday. We have a wide range of events this weekend to get you through these last few dog days of summer! This weekend’s calendar features three different farmer’s markets in Huntersville, Davidson and Mooresville, Flight Shows and a Monster Truck Rally.
