So it’s Monday and the start of another week, and you may be thinking that you’d rather be at the lake, but we have a few ideas that could spice up this first week of August. How about NASCAR’s Summer Driver Series or some laughs at the Comedy Zone? We’ll get you outside again this week for an outdoor movie, music festivals, and an art crawl at the Oak Street Mill. We’ll also get you on stage for open mic night at Kadi Fit. We even have events to keep the kids busy such as a Kindermusik open house, summer movies, an Eager Eaglets Preschool program and summer movies. Read on for more details and additional events.
The Connie Company will produce an adaptation of “Twelfth Night” as part of its highly successful “Shakespeare Unplugged” series this week at the Armour Street Theater.

National Night Out takes place on Tuesday night. This is a nationwide series of free events that gives residents a chance to gather together to promote public safety, awareness and neighborhood unity. Please see our list of the police departments throughout the Lake Norman community that have events.
After you wrap up with National Night Out, drop off the kids and head over to the Comedy Zone, and roll out of your chair laughing at the hilarious Mark Evans.

Your little eaglets will soar high at the Carolina Raptor Center’s Eager Eaglets Preschool Program where they can make a craft or painting to take home!
