Art for the holidays

[1]“Art for the Holidays,” an exhibit of photography and paintings by local artists, is on display during Christmas in Davidson and throughout the holidays at Davidson Town Hall, 216 S. Main St. In Cornelius, Brick Row Gallery has its first Small Works Invitational on display, also with gift ideas for Christmas.
DAVIDSON TOWN HALL SHOW
The Davidson Town Hall show includes photographs by Gayle Shomer, PK Donson, Ron Donson, Joe Young, Ben Yarborough and David Boraks; and paintings by LC Neill.
The exhibit is open weekdays 8am to 5pm and other hours during town events. All works are available for purchase for holiday gifts.
[2]Photographs by Joe Young of Davidson are among the works on display in December at Davidson Town Hall.
The show will run through Friday, Jan. 3.
Meanwhile, the gallery is now assembling a schedule of exhibits for 2014. Artists may supply framed, ready to hang artwork for shows that typically run one month. Interested artists may contact gallery coordinator David Boraks at david@boraks.net [3] for more information.
SMALL WORKS AT BRICK ROW
Brick Row gallery in downtown Cornelius is exhibiting a collection of local artists’ work, and it’s all on sale as holiday gifts. Brick Row is a creative space run by local arts promoters Bella Love Inc., at 21325 Catawba Ave., Cornelius. Love.

HOME GROWN ART AT ARTS CENTER
Over at the Cornelius Arts Center, they’ve got an exhibit titled “Home Grown,” a celebration of local art in the Lake Norman Region. The show will is on display through Jan. 2. The Cornelius Arts Center is at 19725 Oak St., in the Oak Street Mill.
