[1]Registration is now open for fall and holiday-themed workshops at The Community Arts Project, [2] on North Main Street in Cornelius. Choose from Fabulous Fall Wreaths, Boo Buddies, Gingerbread Mania, Snow Globes & Reindeer Games just to name a few.

4-WEEK ADULT CLASSES
Choose from Painting with Paul Keysar on Mondays, Oil Painting with Gordon C. James on Wednesdays and Holiday Card Printmaking with Jane Ellithorpe on Thursdays. All classes 10:00am – 12:30pm. Classes run 11/18 thru 12/19 with no classes the week of Thanksgiving.
DROP-IN ART
The Community Arts Project offers a variety of drop-in art options during the holidays. Thanksgiving Creations Drop-in Art, Wednesday, Nov. 27, 10am – 2pm. “Art Friday” Drop-in Art on Black Friday, Nov. 29, 8am – 4pm and Holiday Drop-in art on Dec. 23, 26, 27, 30 & Jan 2 & 3, 10am – 2pm. As parents prepare for the holidays, shop and cook, children can create art inspired by the season! Great for ages 2 to 12. No pre-registration required. GRAND OPENING NOV. 1-2
Join the Community Arts Project as they celebrate the grand opening of their new facility located in the Chair Factory building at 20700 N. Main Street, Suite 112 in Cornelius. Festivities will include an evening party for adults, 21 and over on Friday, November 1, 7pm – 10pm and a children’s party on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10am – 2pm. The evening party will include food, beverages, music and fun! The children’s party will include food, beverages and lots of art! Both events are free and open to the public.
THE SHOP IS OPEN
The Community Arts Project gallery art shop sells a variety of handcrafted items made by our instructors. Hours of operation are Monday – Thursday, 9am – 4pm and Friday and Saturday, 9am – 12pm.
