Black History Month Discussion, 7pm, Davidson College Alvarez College Union atrium – A discussion with Larry Little, former head of the Black Panther Party chapter in Winston-Salem, and African-American World War II veteran Ross Walker, who fought in Germany in 1945. Other African-American war veterans who were stationed in Germany also will attend. The college and the German Consulate will honor the men at the event. The discussion coincides with the exhibition “The Civil Rights Struggle, African American GIs and Germany,” at the college through March 1.
