Davidson Community Players’ the Connie Company and the Davidson College theater department will present the children’s adventure story “Jack and the Beanstalk,” Friday through Sunday, Jan. 25-27, at Cunningham Theater Center Barber Theatre, off North Main Street in Davidson.
Directed by Brianna Smith, “Jack and the Beanstalk” is a retelling of the children’s story by the late Rupert Barber Jr. (for whom the theater is named). Jack climbs the beanstalk and discovers a hen that lays golden eggs, a magical harp, and a hungry giant.
