Fall festivals, ‘Tawba Walk, balloons, Organ at Davidson

this week bugThe Lake Norman area calendar is a full one this week, from the Cornelius ‘Tawba Walk art crawl and the Flatiron Kitchen’s Fall Festival in Davidson to Statesville’s Carolina Balloonfest and the Lakeside Artists Studio Tour. The Organ at Davidson series continues at Davidson College Presbyterian Church Tuesday with Mary Louise Kapp Peeples. This Saturday also brings the Children’s Schoolhouse Fall Carnival on the Davidson Green. Meanwhile, the Amazing Maize Maze continues at Rural Hill and the musical “Baby” has more performances at Armour Street Theatre in Davidson.

Cornelius Town Board, 6 p.m., 21445 Catawba Ave., Cornelius – Cornelius Town Board meeting. Agenda includes minor updates to several ordinances, several board appointments, a presentation on a new traffic model for town, and consideration of new alarm system rules and street light policy.
