Lectures, farm tour, Maize Maze & Run for Green

Run for Green 2011

Public meetings fill the schedule this week, including the Lake Norman Marinethis week button Commission, North Mecklenburg Republican Women, Davidson Town Board, and the Lake Norman Teen Council. Davidson College hosts several lectures on topics ranging from archaeology to neuroscience to Syria. The fourth annual Charlotte Area Farm Tour is this Saturday and Sunday and the Run for Green half-marathon, 10K and 5k races will be held on Saturday, along with the Green Day festival on the Village Green. On Sunday, the Davidson College Symphony and Jazz Ensemble play a Concert on the Green.  And the Amazing Maize Maze is open all weekend at Rural Hill in Huntersville.
