Mandolinist Michael Orlando plays Wednesday night at Flatiron Kitchen in Davidson, and there’s live music at least two nights this week at Summit Coffee. The Jetton Park Triathlon is scheduled Saturday morning at Jetton Park in Cornelius, and there’s a Run Wild 5K just down the street in Birkdale at the same time. Primary Election Day, polls open 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Mecklenburg County – Citizens may vote in party primaries for races including president, governor of North Carolina and other state offices, 9th Congressional District, state Senate, district judges and Mecklenburg County Commission. The ballot also includes a proposed N.C. Constitutional amendment to define marriage as only between a man and a woman. Vote at your assigned precinct. Note to Huntersville voters: the Huntersville library voting station has been relocated to Huntersville United Methodist Church on Stumptown Road because of renovations at the library.
