North Meck Chorus invites new members for fall

[1]North Mecklenburg Community Chorus [1] is seeking new members for the Main Chorus, which begins Monday night rehearsals on Sept. 12.
About 40 singers showed up for a fall open house a the Birkdale Residence Club on Aug. 22, and the group is continuing to recruit members. “We’ll be learning and performing a wonderful selection of traditional and popular Christmas songs that everyone knows and loves,” the group says in an announcement.
No auditions are necessary and the chorus promises “no boring songs!” Rehearsals are Monday nights at 7, beginning Sept. 12, at Assurance United Methodist Church, 9700 Mount Holly-Huntersville Road, Huntersville.
