Theater, Symphony in the Park, Birdsnest unplugged

Warehouse Performing Arts Center’s play festival continues this week with more performance of “Grave Comedies,” as well as readings of new, full-length plays and a play writing workshop. A Habitat for Humanity Design Challenge on Tuesday has designers competing to make the best rooms using items from Habitat’s Mooresville Restore. The documentary “Play Again” will be shown in Concord for what may be the last time in our area. On Saturday, the Charlotte Symphony will be playing at Bailey Road Park and Davidson Local will be performing at The Birdsnest’s second No Power Concert.

Walk to the Green, 2 p.m., Davidson IB Middle School, 251 South St., Davidson – Alumni, friends, and family of the school are welcome to join the students and staff by the picnic tables behind the school at 1:45 to walk together to the Davidson Town Green in downtown Davidson at 2 p.m. Bring a notecard with a memory, dedication, or poem to leave in the Memory Box.
