Local meetings this week include a bankruptcy seminar Monday, a U.S. Census presentation on Tuesday, and a chance to hear former Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory, also on Tuesday. Davidson’s Town Board will hold public hearings on the FY2012 budget and a proposal to lengthen the terms of the mayor and commissioners. In sports this week, there are four Kannapolis Intimidators baseball games against the Lexington Legends Monday to Thursday. Mooresville’s Race City Festival is Saturday, with live entertainment, arts & crafts, and more than 160 vendors. Also on Saturday, is the NC Brewers and Music Festival at Rural Hill in Huntersville. And Sunday is Davidson College graduation on the lawn in front of Chambers Hall.

Davidson town board public hearings, 6 p.m., Davidson Town Hall, 216 S. Main St., Davidson – Davidson Town Board holds its monthly meeting, with two public hearings: One on the Town Manager’s recommended budget for 2011-12, and another on a proposal for longer terms for the mayor and commissioners. Lake Norman Rotary Wine Cruise is Thursday
Spring Wine Cruise, 5:30-9:30 p.m., Peninsula Yacht Club, 18501 Harbor Light Blvd., Cornelius – Presented by the Rotary Club of Lake Norman, the cruise will take place on board the Yachta Yachta Yachta and should launch at 6 p.m, setting sail from the Peninsula Yacht Club.
