Easter is coming this weekend, and there are plenty of things going on before we get there. The Lions Clubs of Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville are coming together to sponsor a golf tournament Monday in honor of the late Russell B. Knox, former mayor and community leader. On Tuesday, Tyler Hicks, Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist for the New York Times, will be visiting Davidson College to speak about his experiences in Libya. Davidson College will also be showcasing one act plays directed by students on Wednesday and Thursday. Saturday starts off the Easter weekend with Easter egg hunts leading into the Sunday services.

Main St., Davidson – A display of various forms of artwork by members of the church that represent the walk of Jesus from his prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane to the moment his body is removed from the cross. Will be open to the public April 15-19.

Documentary film: “Vincent Who?”, 7 p.m., Davidson College Chambers Building Room 3155 – Asian Culture & Awareness Association at Davidson College presents a screening of the documentary “Vincent Who?” Producer Curtis Chin will be on hand to talk about the film. It focuses on the 1982 murder of Vincent Chin, who was beaten to death near Detroit by two out of work white autoworkers who held Asians responsible for their unemployment. The perpetrators were sentenced to just three years of probation and a $3,000 fine, prompting Asian Americans around the country to create aunited movement for Asian American Rights. Free.
