This weekend in and around the area brings the opening of Warehouse PAC’s “Frozen,” a play about the disappearance of a 10-year-old girl. In Concord, the Charlotte Home and Landscape Show will showcase the latest trends for home and outdoor living spaces. And there’s plenty more going on as well, including lots of music.
Summit Coffee is hosts Rusty Knox on Thursday, Davidson Local on Friday and Rick Spreitzer on Saturday. On Sunday, as part of the Davidson College concert series, Jon Singleton will be playing American popular music for banjo, fiddle, and dobro. Also on Sunday, the Charlotte Contemporary Ensemble will be singing spirituals, gospel and contemporary works at St. Alban’s.
There’s a Davidson College men’s basketball game against College of Charleston on Saturday, an interactive presentation on nuclear energy at McGuire Nuclear Station for homeschoolers, and two storytimes, one for preschoolers and one for toddlers, on Friday at the Davidson public library.
