Our Town Cinemas [2], which opened on Christmas Day 2009 in Davidson’s Sadler Square, was among the “10 best new places, uptown and beyond” as compiled by The Charlotte Observer last week. The newspaper listed the new movie theater, with its cabaret seating and first-run films, alongside Amelie’s Bakery uptown, Charlotte’s slew of new museums, Huntersville’s Discovery Place Kids and Carowinds’ Intimidator roller coaster as its top picks.
