The Thanksgiving break will keep things relatively quiet in and around Davidson this week, but we’re not without a few special events. Monday night features a performance of Handel’s “Messiah” by Davidson College’s Concert Choir and Pro Arte Orchestra at Duke Family Performance Hall. The Davidson Town Board holds a work session Tuesday night. And longtime Davidsonian Ralph Quackenbush will be honored with the town’s Jack Burney community service award at a breakfast reception Wednesday morning at Town Hall.
