Davidson’s free Concerts on the Green return today with another Friday night installment, featuring the Alabama Blues Brothers [1], a Blues Brothers’ tribute/show band.
The Alabama Blues Brothers (who claim to be the only Blues Brothers impersonators who are actually brothers) deliver an authentic show impersonating the legendary “Saturday Night Live” characters, Jake and Elwood. They play complete with black suits, Ray-Ban sunglasses and an eight-piece band, all in prison stripes.
Concert hours are 6 to 9 p.m., with music beginning at 6:30. Organizers hope concert-goers will come early or stay late, visiting Davidson’s restaurants and shops.
Concerts on the Green is a free annual concert series that takes place on the Village Green at the corner of Main Street and Concord Road.
