
"Twilight Saga: Eclipse" opens with a midnight showing Tuesday at Our Town Cinemas.
July 4 celebrations are on tap at the end of the week, with events on Saturday in downtown Davidson and at Lowe’s YMCA in Mooresville and Sunday in Cornelius,
Charlotte and other locales. The Lowe’s YMCA and Charlotte events include fireworks. Cornelius’s celebration wraps up with an outdoor screening of the movie “Avatar.” Also this week, public meetings include a school forum and a Davidson Planning Board meeting on Monday, and a MI-Connection board meeting on Wednesday.
“Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” the third installment of the popular vampire series, opens with a special midnight showing on Tuesday night at Our Town Cinemas, in Sadler Square. (See movie listings at right.)
