Free gardening and composting day at Energy Explorium

The EnergyExplorium at Duke Energy’s McGuire Nuclear Station in Huntersville will host a free gardening and composting “Super Saturday” event on Saturday, June 19, 1-3 p.m.
They’ll have composting demonstrations, a presentation on organic gardening, instruction on how to make a butterfly garden and more. All families will receive a packet of information and a goodie bag.
Guests will also have the opportunity to watch a movie on butterflies and moths, walk the EnergyExplorium’s nature trail and participate in a make-your-own-butterfly activity.
