Winter tailgate markets downtown Feb. 6 & 20

Davidson Farmers Market’s winter tailgate market is back two Saturdays in February (Feb. 6 and 20) downtown Davidson next to Town Hall. It’s open rain or shine, 9 a.m. to noon.

This week’s vendors include Houston Farm, Barbee Farm, Coldwater Creek and All Season Farm. Also, pastured and hormone-free pork, ostrich, beef, lamb and eggs from Big Oak Farm, Birdbrain Ostrich Ranch, Gilcrest Natural Farm, Grateful Growers and Wild Turkey Farm. Calico Dairy and Cackleberry Farm will have cow milk cheeses – feta, yogurt cheese and more.

The market this week also will have local honey, soaps and body scrubs, as well as fresh baked goods.

The winter tailgate market runs every other Saturday this winter. (Other dates: March 6 & 20, April 3 & 17).
