It’s a holiday weekend here in Davidson, and though most of us are at home (or on the road) with family and friends, there are a few public events on the calendar. The Davidson men’s basketball team hosts Rhode Island Saturday at 2 p.m. at Belk Arena. And Summit Coffee has music Friday and Saturday. Looking ahead, Davidson Community Players open “It’s a Wonderful Life” next week and Christmas in Davidson returns.
