Christmas in Davidson is the place to find the holiday spirit with fun, food and festivities Thursday, Dec. 3, through Saturday, Dec. 5, from 6 to 9 p.m nightly.

• Visit Santa Claus in the Community Room at the Davidson Public Library where CVS Pharmacy will photograph children with Santa.  You can pick up your free photos at CVS the next day.
• Meet Mrs. Claus at Knox Realty or Curious George at Main Street Books on Friday evening.
• Check out dramatic action at Davidson Town Hall and watch performances of “Bits of Christmas” by The Connie Co. children’s theater group.
• Hop on a horse drawn carriage and tour Davidson.
• Create ornaments and decorate candy canes at  Ben & Jerry’s.
• Decorate holiday cards and make chocolate covered pretzels at the Sanctuary of Davidson.
• Make reindeer food for Rudolph and the gang at BB&T Bank.
• Have your face painted at The Needlecraft Center.
• Watch Brandini the Great doing balloon magic at The Village Store.
• Take a haywagon or trolley ride through town.
• Decorate gingerbread men at Campania Cafe and Italian Gourmet Market.
• Watch a blacksmith in action at Wooden Stone.
• Watch the live nativity scene at DUMC.
• Cheer on your favorite pooch at the Doggie Fashion Show on Friday evening.
• All aboard the children’s train Thursday and Saturday night.

Whether you’re in the mood for a full meal, a snack or something in between, the Christmas in Davidson celebration is the place to tickle your tastebuds this season!

Sit down at a Davidson restaurant, including; The Brickhouse Tavern at Davidson Cotton Mill; The Egg at Davidson, Bonsai Grill, Bucci’s, Toast and The Soda Shop in Downtown Davidson;  Fuel Pizza, Restaurant X, and Campania Café and Italian Gourmet Market at South Main; and Sabi Asian Bistro, Donato’s Pizza, Ming’s and Subway near Exit 30.

Don’t forget something to warm you at Summit Coffee & Tea, or cool you off at Ben & Jerry’s. Special cupcakes and other baked goodies are available at MJ’s Sugar Shack.

Frosty’s Food Court, located across Main Street from Santa’s House, will feature delectable delights from many of Davidson’s restaurants and you can support local non-profits when you purchase special offerings at their booths.

Shop under the Big top on the Village Green for yummy snacks every evening including chocolates, gingerbread, cookies or s’mores roasted over an outdoor fire pit.
