Doggie Fashion Show returns to Christmas in Davidson

Organizers of Christmas in Davidson 2009, coming up Dec. 3-5 in downtown Davidson, are reviving a favorite activity of the annual festival: the Doggie Fashion Show. This year’s parade of costumed canines is planned Friday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m., at South Main Square.
Owners are invited to dress their dogs in holiday outfits. Pre-registration is requested, to ensure a spot in the event. Participation will be limited to the first 30 rovers registered.
If interested, send your name, your dog’s name and breed, and mention any unusual or special doggie talents to Davidsonpaws@yahoo.com [1].
All dogs must be on a leash and within the full control of their owner at all times.

THURSDAY, DEC. 3 to SATURDAY, DEC. 5, 6-9 p.m., downtown Davidson – Christmas in Davidson community festival. Main Street closed for strolling and shopping. Santa will be there, and the Village Green stage hosts performances. Also Saturday: annual North Mecklenburg Christmas Parade.
