Sun. event eyes town’s 20th century history

The Davidson Historical Society will host a program on the history of “Davidson in 20th Century – the Roaring Twenties through World War II,” on Sunday, November 15, 4 pm at the Davidson Town Hall.
Jan Blodgett, Davidson College Archivist, and Ralph Levering, the Vail Professor of History at Davidson, will present this program. How did the Davidson survive the Depression? What are the stories of Davidson’s “Greatest Generation?” Come get the answers as we preview a few of the chapters from their future book on the history of the town!
