It’s a busy week in and around Davidson, with Town Board and school board meetings, a Concert on the Green Sunday,
and a free outdoor movie downtown Wednesday. Most schools close their doors for the summer this week, with public schools getting out Wednesday.

At the same time in Charlotte, the Charlotte Mecklenburg school board will be holding a public hearing on the proposed boundaries for the new Bailey Road high school in Cornelius. Davidson will be in the zone for the new school, which is scheduled for a 2010 opening.
On Wednesday, the Lake Norman Transportation Commission holds its monthly meeting in Mooresville.
