June 14 on the Green: Abbey Road Live

Downtown Davidson Inc.’s next Concert on the Green on June 14 will feature the Athens, Ga.,-based Beatles tribute band Abbey Road Live.
Not your typical Beatle lookalike tribute act, this band brings to life some of the more mature and complex Beatles material in a raw and spirited fashion, while remaining true to the original recordings. Combining attention to detail with a creative exuberance, the band promises to delight the audience with its diverse repertoire of hits and more obscure favorites.
The show runs 6 to 8:00 p.m. on the Davidson Village Green, at Main Street and Davidson/Concord Road in Davidson.
Each concert this year features a picnic contest with prizes. The theme for the June 14 show will be “Groovy, yeah baby!”.
