Milne, adapted by Bettye Knapp. In this story (for children 4 and above), Christopher Robin has decided to run away with his friends Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and the rest. As the situation becomes clearer, Christopher Robin isn’t quite so sure that running away is the answer. SUNDAY, MAY 3, 8 p.m., St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 301 Caldwell Lane, off Concord Road – Public reading of John Patrick Shanley’s award-winning play “Doubt, a Parable,” which also was a hit movie. This cast also performed the play in the February Festival of Faith and Arts at Davidson College Presbyterian Church. Directed by Alan England, with Larry Ligo as Father Flynn. Set in the Bronx in 1964, it is structured as a clash of wills and generations between Sister Aloysius and Father Flynn, the young priest who may or may not be too fond of the schoolboys in his charge.
