This Saturday, April 25, Summit Coffee in downtown Davidson will stage its third annual “Summit Cares” community outreach concert- 11 hours of live music, noon to 11 p.m., to raise funds and awareness for Autism Society of North Carolina. (See schedule below.)
Summit will donate a percentage of its sales throughout the day, and patrons are encouraged to make donations.
More than 20 musicians will be donating their time and energy to help in this effort. Expect to see: local regulars Billy Jones, Rusty Knox, Grey Revell, Ellie Merrell, Chas Willoman, Rick Spreitzer, and others.
“Please help to support this event and show some love for these generous and talented musicians,” Summit proprietor Tim Helfrich said in an email.
Summit Coffee is at 128 S. Main St. in downtown Davidson.
