CORNELIUS – North Mecklenburg Senior Center could close this summer unless officials can find a new, more affordable site to replace The River Church in Cornelius, the center’s home since its founding in September 2007.
The center is one of four operated by Charlotte Mecklenburg Senior Centers Inc. Officials and board members have been scouting for vacant retail or community spaces for the past six months, without luck. So they’re appealing to the community for ideas. Continue Reading

It’s okay to have a passion to do something and not follow through with a definite plan of action. It may not be as satisfying as getting the results you desire.
