I want to support you in taking good care of yourself. I would not ask you to do that unless I was doing it as well. Having been diagnosed with cancer last year, I know the importance of eating healthy. For me, eating healthy and eating to prevent the growth of cancer are the same yet different. I have eliminated sugar and all food acid. I drink Alkaline water and no ice cream. This was not easy but after a month of consistence, it became second nature. And just as a bonus I have more energy.
There are days that you will surprise yourself and eat everything on your list of foods and then there will be days that you will numb out and do nothing. When you numb out you stop yourself from building momentum. Know that numbing out sets you back and taking healthy actions will move you forward. Every time we lose focus by numbing out, we lose ground. It takes 30 days to create a new habit. A habit is something you do that you do not have to think about…it just comes naturally.
What could you do that could bring you back to your new goal? Be mindful of what is happening and know that you can set yourself up to win in the very next moment. It is natural to fall back and know that is is okay. Don’t be hard on yourself. Be kind to yourself. Enjoy what the day offers you, but get back to your list quickly and with an intention to win. Good Luck.
