The 10th edition of the semi-annual Queen’s Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week returns Friday, Jan. 18, to Sunday, Jan. 27, at a record 112 restaurants in six counties in the greater Charlotte area and Lake Norman. Specials and details, along with hotel discounts, are now live on the Queen’s Feast website, www.CharlotteRestaurantWeek.com.
Participating restaurants offer special prix fixe dinners of three or more courses, for $30 per person (plus tax and tip). Popular eateries are joining in again across Charlotte to Matthews, Concord, Belmont, Gastonia, Waxhaw, the Lake Norman area of northern Mecklenburg and Iredell counties, and Fort Mill, S.C. Davidson Farmer’s Market’s third annual Salsa Showdown was delayed a week, and now is scheduled this Saturday, July 28, at the market site in downtown Davidson. Meanwhile, restaurants across the Lake Norman area are participating in the Queen’s Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week this week. After months of renovations, inspections and menu-planning, Meatballs on Main in Cornelius opens tomorrow for lunch and dinner. Also this week, Queen’s Feast Restaurant Week kicks off Friday and runs July 20-29 in the Charlotte region. Many eateries in the Lake Norman area are participating, and we have the list. Meanwhile, Rural Hill is gearing up for a rally – a food truck rally, that is. More than 13 Charlotte-area food truck favorites will convene for an evening of food and live music July 27. It’s mid-summer, but there’s plenty happening on the Lake Norman restaurant scene. Toast of Davidson will have a wine dinner this Saturday, July 14, pairing five reds and whites with special dishes. Queen’s Feast Restaurant Week is coming up July 20-29 in the Charlotte region, including many eateries in the Lake Norman area. And some are getting a head start with “previews” this weekend. Meanwhile, the new Lucky Dog Bark and Brew is getting closer to opening on Statesville Road in Cornelius. CHARLOTTE – The summer 2012 edition of Queen’s Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week is scheduled Friday, July 20, through Sunday, July 29, throughout the Charlotte area. Participating restaurants include long list of favorites in the Lake Norman area, from Flatiron Kitchen + Taphouse in Davidson, Jeffrey’s Restaurant in Mooresville, Alton’s Kitchen & Cocktails and 131 Main in Cornelius, and many more in Birkdale Village and Huntersville.

More than 100 eateries, including a long list of Lake Norman area favorites, will join the Queen’s Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week beginning next Friday, Jan. 20. Alton’s Kitchen in Cornelius is getting a jump on the festivities, offering its special menu in a “preview” a week ahead of the festival. Also, the Davidson Housing Coalition has announced the lineup of restaurants that will vie for the best local soups in its 2012 Souper Bowl fundraiser Feb. 4. Read the full story

The Winter 2012 edition of the semiannual Queen’s Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week will run Friday, Jan. 20, through Sunday, Jan. 29, with a record 101 participating restaurants, including many favorites in north Mecklenburg and south Iredell. (List below)

Flatiron Kitchen + Taphouse, Alton’s Kitchen & Cocktails, Choplin’s, and 131 Main are among 92 eateries across the region participating in the semi-annual Queen’s Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week this summer, from Friday, July 15, to Sunday, July 24.
As usual, restaurants in the summer edition of the dining fest will serve a multi-course, prix fixe dinner for $30 per person (plus tax and tips).
