Davidson Farmer’s Market, a year-round producer-only market in downtown Davidson, is accepting applications through Jan. 31 for vendors for the upcoming 2014 season. The nonprofit market also is seeking 2014 sponsors. 

The market is seeking producer-only vendors that offer unique food products, to fill spaces created by turnover or to add more variety and new products.  The market accepts vendors on a temporary basis, pending site inspections at the height of the growing season.  Meat producers also must sign and adhere to the market’s meat policy.

Davidson Farmer’s Market was established in 2007 to provide locally-grown food products, to sustain farmers in the Davidson area, and strengthen a sense of community. As a “producer only” farmers Market, it supports local farms as a viable part of the community by providing a place for local farmers to sell their produce directly to consumers.

Davidson Farmers Market operates Saturdays, 8am to noon, from April through October, on the market grounds next to Town Hall in downtown Davidson. The winter season market runs November through March, bimonthliy on Saturdays, 9am to noon.
