Davidson’s John M. Belk Arena will serve as a consolation round site for the Dick’s Sporting Goods NIT Season Tip-Off. Davidson will host doubleheader sessions Monday, Nov. 24, and Tuesday, Nov. 25. Because this is an NIT event, Davidson season tickets and parking passes are NOT valid.

Marist running back Bo Ehikioya rushed for 222 yards and three touchdowns, and the Red Foxes held off a late-game rally by Davidson to defeat the Wildcat football team 24-19 Saturday afternoon at Richardson Stadium.

Stephen Curry scored 29 points, had 10 assists and 9 steals as Davidson College beat Guilford, 107-83, at Belk Arena to open its 2008-9 basketball season. The Cats pulled away from the Quakers early in the second half and built a big lead that was never challenged.

Davidson College’s season opening men’s basketball game against Guilford tonight (Friday, Nov. 14) is sold out. The game begins at 9 p.m. at Belk Arena.
