Two tractor-trailers wrecked around 5am Wednesday on I-77 northbound south of Exit 28 in Cornelius, injuring one driver and backing up northbound traffic to Charlotte. Nobody hurt as car hits McConnell house at 1:15 am

The woman driver’s 2004 Jeep had $12,000 damage and had to be towed after the wreck around 1:15 a.m.
A 27-year-old Davidson driver is facing several charges, but was not seriously hurt early Wednesday when she lost control of her car and struck another car and a house in the McConnell neighborhood.
The incident happened around 1:15 a.m. at North Downing Street and Lingle Drive, just off Concord Road. Read the full story

Woman hurt in wreck at I-77 Exit 30; car overturns on Davidson-Concord

A woman driver was seriously injured and had to be airlifted to the hospital in Charlotte Saturday afternoon after her car ran into the rear of a nearly stopped tractor-trailer. The wreck happened around 1:45 p.m., and forced the closure of I-77 near Exit 30 in Davidson.

Overnight truck wreck closes I-77 northbound at Exit 33
