Tornado watch issued for north Mecklenburg

The region could be in for a bit of a stormy night. At 9:52 p.m., the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for an area stretching from southeastern Gaston County to north Charlotte and northern Mecklenburg County. The warning is in effect until 10:30. Read the full story
