HUNTERSVILLE – The North Mecklenburg Republican Women will welcome radio talk show host Frank Roche as their keynote speaker June 12. Mr. Roach’s show airs on Rush Radio, 106.1 FM, and he has been called “talk radio’s chief economist.” He also ran in the 2012 primary race for Republican nominee for N.C. HUNTERSVILLE - The North Mecklenburg Republican Women welcome business consultant and author Dr. Timothy Daughtry as the keynote speaker at their Jan. 10 dinner meeting at NorthStone Club, 15801 NorthStone Drive, Huntersville.

Timothy Daughtry
A clinical psychologist, Dr. Daughtry uses principles from the behavioral sciences to demonstrate differences between liberal and conservative character and worldviews. His presentation at the NCGOP Convention in June drew high praise, according to NMRW organizers. Read the full story

HUNTERSVILLE – Republican candidate for N.C. Lieutenant Governor Dan Forest will be the keynote speaker at the North Mecklenburg Republican Women’s dinner meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at NorthStone Club, 15801 NorthStone Drive. Dr. Mike Beitler, who is running for N.C. Secretary of State, also will speak at the event.

Forest
Both Mr. Forest and Dr. Beitler won the straw poll elections conducted at the NC GOP Hall of Fame Dinner in Cary, N.C. Saturday night.
“NMRW is pleased to bring candidates to our community so citizens can meet them in person and ask questions,” NMRW Vice President Sharon Hudson said.
Mr. Forest will discuss the social and economic issues challenging North Carolina and how as Lt. Governor he would address them.
“2012 will be a defining moment for the future of our state,” Mr. Forest said in a statement. “This is our 1776. It’s imperative that all people know what is at stake, know the differences between the two competing plans for leading the state and then take action.”
A fiscal and social conservative, he has more than 23 years of experience as a business leader, architect and entrepreneur. He is the son of U.S. Congresswoman Sue Myrick.

ABOUT NMRW
NMRW is an affiliate of the NCFRW (North Carolina Federation of Republican Women). Past keynote speakers have included former Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory, U.S. Congresswoman Sue Myrick, N.C. Speaker of the House Thom Tillis, and nationally syndicated radio talk show host Jason Lewis. The club’s first meeting was in April of 2009. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month.

Tillis
HUNTERSVILLE – Rep. Thom Tillis (R – Cornelius) will be the keynote speaker at the North Mecklenburg Republican Women’s meeting Sept. 13 at Northstone Club in Huntersville. He will deliver an update on activity in the state legislature.
A Cornelius resident, Rep. Tillis is the N.C. Speaker of the House and was one of eight state lawmakers around the country to win 2011 “Legislator of the Year” awards from the American Legislative Exchange Council. Read the full story

Pat McCrory
Former Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory will be the keynote speaker at the North Mecklenburg Republican Women meeting Tuesday, May 10, at NorthStone Club, 15801 NorthStone Drive, Huntersville.
McCrory, who served a record 14 years as Mayor of Charlotte from 1995-2009, was the Republican nominee for Governor of N.C. in the 2008 General Election. He served on the Homeland Security Advisory Council from 2003-2009 and is a front-runner for the Republican nomination for governor in the 2012 election. Read the full story
