The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a flash flood warning for Cornelius, Davidson and surrounding areas until 12:30 p.m.

The doppler radar at 9:29 a.m. indicated heavy rainfall – 1 to 11/2 inches per hour – across Mecklenburg and Cabarrus counties, southern Iredell County, western Union County, Rowan County and eastern York county in South Carolina. Read the full story
