Stephen Curry hit only three baskets in 20 minutes of play Saturday night as his Golden State Warriors lost to the Sacramento Kings, 101-94. The No. 7 pick in the NBA draft is leading his team in assists, with 35 in the first six games of the preseason. One teammate had nothing but praise for Curry’s performance so far as a Warrior:

Coach says he’ll likely be a ‘part-time starter’

Former Davidson College star Stephen Curry scored 11 points off the bench Wednesday night in his second game as a Golden State Warrior. But his team dropped the pre-season contest to the L.A. Lakers, 118-101, in Anaheim, Calif. Meanwhile, his coach says he will be at least a “part-time starter” this season. Read the full story
